Become a State-Approved Mentor

Licensed family child care is an incredibly important resource for Washington’s children. Unfortunately, the number of family child care providers is not growing with the state’s need. Now, more than ever, Washington State needs a supportive career path for those interested in becoming licensed family child care providers. That’s where Imagine U comes in. The Imagine Institute has designed a program that will prepare current licensed family child care providers to mentor aspiring child care providers as they prepare to open their own child cares. Together, state-approved mentors and Imagine U interns will grow the number of child care providers in our state.
