The Early Care and Education Substitute Pool is designed to support family child care and child care center providers in their professional development. State funding is currently available for certain allowable activities.
Complete a Portable Background Check with the Department of Children, Youth and Families.
Check the “Interested in working as a substitute” box in MERIT.
Once DCYF has your information and you are cleared to work in emergency-licensed child care facilities, the Imagine Institute will contact you as requests for substitutes come in from child care providers in your area.
