This policy explains what cookies are, which categories are used on imaginewa.org, and how visitors can control them. It should be read alongside the Imagine Institute Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on a device when a person visits a website. They allow a site to recognize a browser, remember settings, and collect information about how the site is used.
Cookies set by imaginewa.org are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by outside services embedded in the site, such as video players or analytics providers, are called third-party cookies. This policy also covers related technologies with similar functions, including pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits.

These cookies help The Imagine Institute understand which pages and resources are used most, how visitors arrive at the site, and where navigation breaks down. The information is used in aggregate to improve content and site structure. It is not used to identify individual visitors by name.

Google Tag Manager is used to deploy these tags. Google Tag Manager does not set cookies of its own, but it controls which measurement tags load on the site.
These cookies remember choices a visitor makes and support features offered through the site. Blocking them does not prevent access to the site, but some features may not work as expected.

Some pages include video, maps, and social media content hosted by other companies. The Imagine Institute does not control these cookies.

The Imagine Institute does not sell advertising space on imaginewa.org and does not use cookies to build advertising profiles of visitors. If advertising or remarketing tags are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they are activated.
Most browsers allow visitors to view stored cookies, delete them, block third-party cookies, or block all cookies. Instructions are available in the help documentation for each browser:
Blocking all cookies will prevent parts of imaginewa.org from working correctly.
Google provides a browser add-on that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Browsers may send a Do Not Track signal or a Global Privacy Control signal. imaginewa.org currently responds to the Global Privacy Control signal by treating it as an opt out request where applicable law requires. There is no common industry standard for Do Not Track signals, and the site does not currently respond to them.
The providers whose technologies may set cookies on imaginewa.org include Cloudflare, Google, Jotform, Salesforce, YouTube, and social media platforms whose content is embedded on the site. Each provider handles the data it collects under its own privacy policy. Visitors are encouraged to review those policies directly.
Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of the legitimate interest of The Imagine Institute in delivering a secure, working website. Analytics, functional, and embedded content cookies are used with consent where applicable law requires consent, including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and the ePrivacy Directive.
Visitors may withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies and adjusting browser settings as described above. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
This policy will be updated when the technologies used on imaginewa.org change or when legal requirements change. The last updated date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on the website.
