Imagine U at Local Events September 2024

The Imagine Institute’s vision of affordable, high-quality care for every child in Washington State is rooted in community. We aim to build an accessible, strong, and diverse development system that elevates and improves the lives of child care providers and professionals and a huge part of that involves going out into our region and meeting potential providers face-to-face.

This September, Imagine U, the Imagine Institute’s relationship-based mentorship program, is attending a couple of events out in the community. Imagine U identifies potential future child care providers, offering mutually beneficial mentorship and internship cohorts to guide future providers through the process of becoming licensed and establishing their child care business.

Are you ready to start your journey to becoming a licensed child care provider? Does someone you know have a dream of owning their own business and creating impact in the lives of children through early childhood education and care? If so, find us at one of these upcoming events to learn more and apply!

2024 Refugee Community Building Conference

The Refugee Community Building Conference is Washington’s premier conference focusing on refugees. After a sold-out event in 2023, the conference returns this year to spark conversation and presentations surrounding reducing systemic barriers that hinder refugees’ access to opportunity and economic success.

Attendees will find refugees, philanthropists, government officials and staff, refugee organizations’ representatives, and members of the public coming together to connect, share ideas, create new community and learning connections, and promote effective policies informed by the needs of refugees.

The conference includes workshops on pressing issues, best practices and the power of advocacy. There will also be a keynote speech and meal opportunities provided.

The 2024 Refugee Community Building Conference will be held at the Seattle Airport Marriott Hotel in SeaTac on September 27th. Space is limited, so register today!
