Starbright Early Learning Center located in South Everett is looking to hire motivated, creative, and energetic individuals to join our team. Full or part-time positions available. We are a high quality early learning program and our teachers understand the importance of developmentally appropriate practice in order to provide an enriched experience.
We prefer candidates to have some experience in working with young children, but offer paid training to motivated individuals. Requirements include; certification in CPR/1st Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens/HIV, negative TB test, food handlers card, and must pass background check through the Division of Children, Youth, and Families. We are currently expanding to include infants, we need an infant teacher as well as other lead staff.

We are looking for a temporary staff to come on to the business while I am recovering from delivering our new baby in July of this year. Ideally we would start the month before my due date and be around for a few months until I am fully up to speed. You would need to be qualified to work by yourself at times and with another teacher at others.  Should have completed at least 30 hours basic STARS Training

An experienced and dedicated teacher to work as an assistant teacher in our two-year-old classroom. This classroom has two teachers and a maximum of ten children.
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience and/or formal education in Early Childhood Education or a related field. We are looking for educators who have:

Who we are:
PRLC Preschool is a licensed childcare facility that serves children aged 12 months to 6 years and has been a part of the Greenwood/Phinney Ridge community since 1968. Our school philosophy and curriculum focus on respect, authenticity, and true child-led learning. We are heavily inspired by the ideas of Magda Gerber, Emmi Pikler, and the Reggio-Emilia region of Italy – and this is reflected in the day to day life of our children & teachers. On any given day you might find our students on a neighborhood walk, purchasing ingredients for a project at the local market, exploring parks and natural spaces throughout the region, or playing on-site in their classrooms & playgrounds. Our teachers select materials and design learning activities based on sensitive observation of the children’s current interests – we spend time reflecting on what we see and hear throughout the classroom and then create opportunities for children to expand on the ideas they are exploring. Minimum Qualifications:
– Must be 18 years of age or older, and have a high school diploma or equivalent
– Must have state required trainings and certifications including First Aid, CPR, Background Check, Blood Borne Pathogens and Childcare Basics or be able to complete these requirements within 30 days of hire
– Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds, and be physically capable of attending to children’s needs
– Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination before visiting the facility
