Program Licensing

If you need assistance including one on one support with these requirements, please contact our Technical Assistants Team.

Subsidy Billing Training

As a provider serving children on subsidy you should be able to accurately claim for child care subsidy from the State of Washington’s Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). This training offers an opportunity for you to increase your knowledge of the subsidy billing process and become more comfortable with the subsidy claiming forms.

For Licensed Family Home and FFN providers, your collective bargaining agreement through SEIU925 requires that you complete the Subsidy Billing Training once per every contract agreement.,

Electronic Attendance Training

Starting July 1, 2018, all providers accepting Working Connections Child Care subsidies are required to track attendance using an electronic attendance system.

This applies to child care centers, family home child care providers, and Family, Friend and Neighbor (FFN) providers.

Providers have the option to use DCYF’s (formerly DEL) Electronic Attendance System or another DCYF-approved attendance system. DCYF’s electronic attendance system is free for providers to use. Training on the new system is now available in multiple languages and delivery methods across the state.
