We are looking for assistant teachers to provide support who are guiding children (ages 18 months to 3, 3-6) in our pm Montessori classrooms and continuing through after-school Activity Club programs. This position’s hours would be approximately: 1:30 to 5:30PM or 2:45PM to 6PM. The Assistant Teacher would help supervise, lunch, recess, and support the classroom staff during the afternoon work period. Starting at 2:40 pm, the Assistant Teacher would work in teams of two to oversee the after school “Activity Club”.
When accepting a position with Bellevue Montessori School, the Activity Club (AC) Support Staff agrees to collaborate with other staff in providing a nurturing environment that supports a child’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. AC staff facilitate the comprehensive development of all students by interacting positively, confidently and respectfully with all children, family and staff members. AC staff are under the direct supervision of the Primary Educational Director, Primary Program Coordinator and Activity Club Lead.
Some Expectations of Activity Club Staff are as follows:
In teams of two, oversee a group of up to 20 children between 2:45 to 6:00 pm by:
Cleaning and rotating of activities, books and art supplies
Knowing and following safety procedures
Providing snacks for the children
Offering assistance to children, only when necessary per the Montessori way
Leading and guiding small group activities (art, science, baking, circle activities, books and songs)
Engaging in conversation with children to increase their opportunities for language
Using positive discipline techniques to help students gain self-discipline and learn how to settle their own disputes using conflict resolution skills
Leaving the classroom clean and ready for the morning including using the three-step process to clean and sanitize the tables and chairs at the end of the night

Bellevue Montessori is currently seeking applications for an experienced and passionate Lead Guide for one of our Toddler classroom for the 2022-2023 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and support children 18 months to 3 years old. You will join a close-knit group of passionate educators that want to make sure each child receives an equitable learning experience in our Montessori classrooms.
Under the guidance of our Toddler Program Director, you will work in conjunction with other staff to observe, collect data, and will be using methods for enhancing speech, social skills, and emotional regulation in adherence with Montessori philosophy. Our Toddler Program Director will conduct bi-weekly check-ins to provide feedback, adjustments, and additional training.

Demonstrate / model appropriate behavior to children and assistant guides in the classroom

PREREQUISITES:
Have a teaching certification in Infants & Toddlers from an AMS, AMI or MACTE approved Training Center
Ready to put your Montessori training and experience working with children in an authentic Montessori prepared environment accredited by the American Montessori Society.
Be open and interested in learning more about the development of toddler-aged students including those with speech delays.
Demonstrate commitment, flexibility, and consistency in your work ethic and history

Here We Grow Again! We have a brand new infant class, and we are looking for help 2-3 days a week. Fostering developing, and building bonds with our infants is the name of the game. Basic care skills required, and willingness to attend periodic training a must.

Montessori Certified Co-Teaching position

Looking for a full-time teacher to join our LIA family and enrich the lives and minds of little ones in a safe and fun environment. Willing to upkeep the sanitary and cleaning needs of the room and children, and willing to engage with kids on learning and curriculum.
