Who we are looking for:
An experienced and dedicated teacher to work as an assistant teacher in our two-year-old classroom. This classroom has two teachers and a maximum of ten children.
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience and/or formal education in Early Childhood Education or a related field. We are looking for educators who have:

Who we are:
PRLC Preschool is a licensed childcare facility that serves children aged 12 months to 6 years and has been a part of the Greenwood/Phinney Ridge community since 1968. Our school philosophy and curriculum focus on respect, authenticity, and true child-led learning. We are heavily inspired by the ideas of Magda Gerber, Emmi Pikler, and the Reggio-Emilia region of Italy – and this is reflected in the day to day life of our children & teachers. On any given day you might find our students on a neighborhood walk, purchasing ingredients for a project at the local market, exploring parks and natural spaces throughout the region, or playing on-site in their classrooms & playgrounds. Our teachers select materials and design learning activities based on sensitive observation of the children’s current interests – we spend time reflecting on what we see and hear throughout the classroom and then create opportunities for children to expand on the ideas they are exploring. Ultimately, we view teachers as facilitators, explorers, and supportive models for the children in their care.

Minimum Qualifications:
– Must be 18 years of age or older, and have a high school diploma or equivalent
– Must have state required trainings and certifications including First Aid, CPR, Background Check, Blood Borne Pathogens and Childcare Basics or be able to complete these requirements within 30 days of hire
– Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds, and be physically capable of attending to children’s needs
– Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination before visiting the facility

We are looking for part time or full time help

I run a play based program with lots of outdoor time all year round. We also do a lot of cooking. I have been doing this for over 30 years and would love to find someone that would like to be the full timer teacher so I could step back a bit and have more time with my family.
I am located in the NE Seattle area, close to Children’s Hospital.

Little Folks School is a Christian, play based, independent preschool and childcare center located in Redmond. We provide preschool and childcare for children ages 2.5 through 5 years and before and after school care for elementary students in kindergarten through third grade. We are open year round, 6:45 am to 6:00 pm.

We are looking for caring and enthusiastic candidates to work with lead teachers to implement the preschool program in accordance with the policies and objectives of Little Folks School. Certified Teacher, Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development Associate (CDA) or Early Child Development Coursework
Required Qualifications:
Must be 18 years old or older
Must have a high school diploma/GED AND two years of experience with kids teaching projects, activities and outdoor education
Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills
Current certification in CPR/First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens and a negative TB test upon employment.
Must be able to pass a DCYF criminal background check.
